Adirondack Life is searching for a highly motivated, articulate, deadline-driven Advertising Salesperson to join Adirondack Life’s sales team to sell print advertising, calendars and online advertising as well as to enhance the overall visibility of our Adirondack Life brand. Energy and enthusiasm are very important to this position as well as the desire to learn and grow into a fully professional sales associate.
Adirondack Life magazine, based in Jay, New York, is an award-winning regional publication that covers New York’s six-million-acre Adirondack Park, which offers more wild country than Yellowstone, Yosemite and Glacier National Parks combined. Adirondack Life has been the voice of the park since 1969, exploring the region’s people, places, wildlife, history and public issues, and giving readers insider tips on outdoor recreation, from hiking and canoeing to ice-climbing and backcountry skiing. Advertising in the magazine underscores all these activities and a deep appreciation for our history, culture, architecture, traditions, arts and crafts.

The ideal candidate must have:
-Exceptional written and oral communication skills
-Energy, adaptability and an eagerness to work as a team to maximize earning potential
-Extraordinary prospecting skills
-Ability to provide input and solutions to existing and new advertisers to market and grow their businesses
The ideal candidate must be:
-a detail oriented self-starter and team player
-articulate, skilled in social and traditional media and familiar with contact management systems
-interested in promoting the Adirondack region as well as the marquee publication, Adirondack Life
-a thorough understanding of deadline-driven work
The chosen candidate will receive:
