Our Commitment to Data Security
The Adirondack Life website takes every precaution to protect customers’ information. When you submit personal information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line.

When you enter personal data on any of our forms (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected via the SSL (secure sockets layer) protocol, which allows client/server applications to communicate in a way that is designed to prevent eavesdropping, tampering, or message forgery. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to unlocked, or open, when you are just “surfing.” To learn more about SSL or our security provider follow this link:

All email transmissions containing personal customer information are encrypted using the PGP method of encryption. With this method, message text is encrypted via a public key. Decryption of this text can only take place when it reaches the computer with the corresponding password protected private key installed. For more details, visit

While we use SSL and PGP encryption to protect personal information online, we also do everything in our power to protect customer information off-line. All of our users’ information, not just the personal information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices or those of our agents.

If you have any questions about the security of our website, you can send an email to: This email address is protected from spam bots; you need JavaScript enabled to view it.
